Plant.as Terms of Service

This is a contract between Advanced Machine Controls
(, Australian Business Number 11 643 381 271),
trading as plant.as, and the users of the website at domain plant.as ("you").

This contract applies from 29 August, 2025 until an updated version
is published at
https://plant.as/documents/terms-of-service.

This contract is subject to the laws of New South Wales and Australia.

The plant.as website provides a service that allows its users to enter the text of a message
then generate one or more links that will only show that message in the chosen format on the first visit to each message link,
which limits the sharing, saving, and quoting of that message.

The service is delivered from servers in the Federal Republic of Germany, whose laws apply in some circumstances.

Messages created at plant.as and distributed to others must not violate any of the hate-speech,
cyber-bullying, or harassment laws of Australia, New South Wales, or Germany.

You agree that plant.as is not liable for the loss of a message entered on its website, either because
(a), you become unable to visit the message's Status Page, because, for example, you have either
lost plant.as's cookie or failed to record the page's URL,
(b), you fail to save that message before plant.as deletes it, either three months
after its creation or because a prohibition in this document has been broken, or
(c), there was an interruption or fault in plant.as's service. Plant.as provides three mechanisms to help
save a message:
(a), a cookie to automatically display the user's last-visited message (until the message is deleted),
(b), an ability to share, email, or copy the URL of a message's Status Page, and
(c), a button to download a message in its current form.

You further agree that plant.as is not liable for unauthorized use of a message
when you have not sufficiently secured your devices against unauthorized access to that message's
Status Page URL, including via a plant.as homepage visit or app start that triggers
plant.as's last-message cookie.

Purchasers of a premium message are entitled to a refund, less the value of the message's used discount codes, if,
(a), No message link was used before the two week show period expired,
(b), A message recipient was unable to fully and properly view the message due to a plant.as technical fault, or
(c), A plant.as technical fault prevented the message purchaser from delivering their message in the way they desired.

plant.as does not function when used from Belarus, Iran, North Korea, or Russia.
